American steel guitarist, band leader, and songwriter, active in the late 1920s.
Rodney Rogers played jazz, pop, and Hawaiian songs on the Hawaiian steel guitar. With Rodney Rogers' Red Peppers, he recorded for Brunswick in Chicago in October 1927. His guitar, steel guitar, and ukulele trio The Three Jacks recorded for Brunswick in Chicago in late June 1928. In late July of the same year, they cut 8 sides with Brunswick in Richmond, Indiana. At least some of these latter sides were later reissued on Brunswick, under the pseudonym King, Queen And Jack.
