Lakshmi Shankar (16 June 1926 – 30 December 2013) was an Indian classical vocalist who performed Hindustani music in the Patiala Gharana style.
She was the wife of Rajendra Shankar, the mother of Viji Subramaniam, a grandmother of Gingger Shankar, Ambi Subramaniam, and Bindu Subramaniam, the mother-in-law of L. Subramaniam, and a sister-in-law of Uday Shankar and Ravi Shankar.
