Johnny "Dandy" Rodriguez was an American Latin percussionist (congas, bongos), born September 11, 1945, New York City – died August 17, 2024, Las Vegas. Son of Johnny "La Vaca" Rodriguez, also a Latin percussionist. He played with the Tito Puente Orchestra, Tito Rodriguez, and Ray Barretto. He formed Tipica 73 in 1972 and remained a member until 1979, and was the leader of Mambo Legends Orchestra.
