US rapper, songwriter and producer, born on August 4, 1967 in Pomona, CA.
He began his career forming the group Wizzards Of Rock as "The Hutch". Eventually Hutch stuck with the moniker "Cold 187um", a nickname given to him in high school as he was known to lyrically murder his emcee opponents. After the Wizzards of Rock, Hutchinson formed Above The Law and landed a deal with Ruthless Records through the help of his friend Lay Law.
Sometimes credited for being the creator of the G-Funk style.
Nephew of R&B singer Willie Hutch and son of Richard Hutch.
