US rapper, songwriter and producer, born on August 4, 1967 in Pomona, CA. He began his career forming the group [a=Wizzards of Rock] as "The Hutch". Eventually Hutch stuck with the moniker "[a=Cold 187um]", a nickname given to him in high school as he was known to lyrically murder his emcee opponents. After the Wizzards of Rock, Hutchinson formed [a=Above the Law] and landed a deal with [l=Ruthless Records] through the help of his friend [a=Lay Law]. Sometimes credited for being the creator of the G-Funk style. Nephew of R&B singer [a=Willie Hutch] and son of [a=Richard Hutch].
