Often miscredited for co-writing the 1960 hit song "Chills And Fever" written by Bobby Rackep and Bill Ness because he also co-wrote a song by the same name recorded by Hank Thompson in 1952.

Born: December 29, 1924 in Paris, Texas.
Died: May 27, 1975
