Cincinnato

About

Cincinnato was an Italian Jazz Rock Fusion / Prog Rock group from near Varese and had previously played since 1970 as Eros Natura, but the record company PDU suggested a change of name, and Cincinnato came out in 1972. Their only album Cincinnato was recorded in just three days, in a single take and the band was already dispanded in 1973 when the album was released in 1974.

o Annibale Vanetti – bass
o Donato Scolese – drums

In 2010 two of the original members, Giacomo Urbanelli and Gianni Fantuzzi reformed the group with Franco Erenti (keyboards) and Paolo Burattin (bass), both of which had already collaborated with the band in the 70's. A CD was released in 2016 using the new name Thauma Cincinnato.
