Самоцветы

Soviet and Russian vocal and instrumental ensemble (VIA) (music band). The creator and permanent leader is People's Artist of Russia Yuri Malikov (Юрий Маликов).

The group's current line-up includes:
Yuri Malikov (Юрий Маликов) - artistic director and member of the band (bass guitar, backing vocals) from 1971 to the present.
Georgy Vlasenko (Георгий Власенко) - is a graduate of the Kharkov Institute of Arts in the class of choral conducting. He was engaged in recording music for films at the [url=https://www.discogs.com/ru/label/1638297]киностудия "Мосфильм"[/url]. From 1981 he worked in the group of Стас Намин "Цветы" From 1987 to 1995 he worked in the ensembles of Лайма Вайкуле and Михаил Муромов. In "Самоцветы" he worked from 1985 to 1987. He returned to the team in 1995.
Alexander Nefyodov (Александр Нефедов) - is a professional singer, has been working in the ensemble "Самоцветы" since 1980. Came to "Самоцветы" from VIA "Поющие Гитары" in 1980 as a vocalist and guitarist. During the suspension of the concert activity of "Самоцветы" he pursued a solo career. In 1995 he returned to "Самоцветы".
Elena Presnyakova (Елена Преснякова) - is the soloist-vocalist of the group from the autumn of 1975 to the present. In 1975, together with her husband [a=Владимир Пресняков (Старший)], she was invited by Юрий Маликов to Самоцветы, where she still works.
Oleg Sleptsov (Олег Слепцов) - Graduated from the music school at the Moscow Conservatory in the piano class, the Gnessin Musical College, the Academy of Arts and postgraduate studies in the class of pop vocals. In 1991, he created the TV Pop Show (Теле-Поп-Шоу) group, and at the same time worked in the team of Дмитрий Маликов. Since 1981 he has been working as a soloist of the VIA "Самоцветы".

In 2006, Юрий Маликов, together with Инна Маликова, created the Новые Самоцветы team.
