Μάκης Μάτσας (Makis Matsas) (Born on the late 1930s in Athens, Greece) is one of the most best-known music executives in Greece. Chairman of [l41663] from October 1990. After his retirement in 2003, he was succeeded by [a=Κώστας Μπουρμάς]. He remained in the company as Chairman of the Board. Married to [a=Ρούλα Μάτσα] with whom they have a daughter (Margarita Matsa, CEO of Minos-EMI S.A.) and a son ([a=Minos Matsas]). Co-founder of the pioneer Greek record company [l=Μίνως Μάτσας & Υιός Α.Ε.] (with his father [a=Μίνως Μάτσας]) in November 1960 and later of the labels [l=Minos (2)] (December 1968) and [l=Margophone] (end of 1960s). [l41663] was formed after the merge of [l134218] (Greek [l26126] joint venture) and [l97433]. Before launching the [l97433] label, [l271823] was Greek exclusive distributor of [l33930] and [l2294].
