Vangelis Xydis was a Greek laïkó songwriter mainly and vocalist. Died 9 May 2015.
In 1975, he married Ελένη Βιτάλη, thus becoming son-in-law to Τάκης Λαβίδας & Λούση Καραγεωργίου. The couple had a son in 1976, Νίκος Ξύδης; they later divorced.
