    Resurrecting the dark beauty of late-'90s/early-2000s alternative rock, the Parisian quartet Venice May blends melody with atmosphere on a heavy yet ethereal sound similar to A Perfect Circle, The Smashing Pumpkins and Sigur Ros. After opening for The Gathering at Le Petit Bain in Paris to defend their first album "Illusion Is Inevitable", released at the end of 2018, the band multiplies gigs in 2019 and 2020 while working on their second release.
