Ulalume

Lead singer and lyricist of Mexican new wave/synth pop band Casino Shanghai.

She started as backing singer and 'Go-Go Girl' in Size and [a=Dangerous Rhythm (2)]. She then was lead singer of punk band The Casuals before founding Casino Shanghai with Carlos Robledo and Walter Schmidt. After disbandment she moved to New York to form DenseUndergrowth, an avant-garde group with many ideas based in [a=Janos Gat] works. Later she collaborated to found Dada Trott with Mariano Petit de Murat and [a=Desire (44)] with Carlos Vivanco. She's also been DJ for several renowned nightclubs and fashion runway shows in NYC.
