Carlos Robledo

Mexican composer, multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, synthesizers, guitar, violin, flute, marimba, percussion, trumpet, etc.) and singer, also known as "Charlie". Active mainly with electronic and experimental music projects. Brother of Victor Robledo.

He started with a ballad rock band called Pimienta, but became a prolific composer and musician co-founding Decibel, Size and Casino Shanghai along with his long-time partner Walter Schmidt. Later he also participated founding Garrobos, Cou Cou Bazar, Los Agentes Secretos and OD, the latter with his former partner in Size, Illy Bleeding.

His live performances with Size became to be known for being able to play synthesizers and guitar at the same time. He decided to add that degree of difficulty because "playing simple chords with a single instrument with Size was too easy after playing complex and structured compositions with Decibel".

He has also collaborated as a session musician for Kenny & The Electrics, Alejandro Lantzeta and Illy Bleeding Y Los Robotes Trucosos.
