The Step Kings
The Step Kings

New York band active from 1997 to the early 2000s. They were at one point signed to Roadrunner Records, who reissued their indie debut "Let's Get It On!" in 2000. The Step Kings departed Roadrunner shortly afterwards, but the band still persisted, releasing a second album titled "3 the Hard Way" in 2002 without backing from a big label. Their sound was an amalgamation of rap, post-hardcore, alternative rock and metal.
