The Pebbles

About

Belgian pop band. Originally called "The Fredstones", they changed their name on advice of Norman Petty.

After signing up with manager Louis De Vries, they produced a couple of (international) hits. However, the commercial disappointment of their first album and internal disagreements led to the group's demise. In 1974 the group finally disbanded, its members ending up as producer or session player for many Flemish artists in a wide variety of genres.
