About

The Fureys were brothers Eddie, Finbar, Paul and George Furey. They recorded with their friend Davey Arthur as The Fureys & Davey Arthur. The accordion player in the photo attached is Camillus Hiney

After Davey left, they continued as The Fureys (or sometimes The Furey Brothers). Finbar left the band to launch a solo career in 1996. Davey has returned to the band on and off over the years.

Paul died suddenly in 2002, Eddie and Paul have continued to play together (sometimes with Davey).
