Cleveland, Ohio, USA soul vocalist who led Zola Taylor's Platters (touring group, 1969-c. 1976). Recorded with Wilton Felder, Elton John, Barry White, George Benson, Phyllis Hyman, James Ingram, David Sancious, Ronnie Laws and Ronnie Foster, among others. Died October 9, 2012.
