Reimers Ekberg

Swedish musician (drummer), songwriter, dancer, actor and former bank clerk, born April 6, 1936 in Stockholm. Reimers worked during the 1960s and 1970s with Casinorevyn. As a musician, Ekberg is active with his own jazz band "Reimers Smokinglirare". Ekberg has also held a number of different positions of trust within the Stallbröderna Society. For this society, during the last quarter of a century, he has written a long series of snapsvisor, which were later sung by, among others, Lasse Berghagen, Claes af Geijerstam, Magnus Härenstam and Björn Skifs on a CD that the society sells for the benefit of charitable causes.
