Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of London was a pseudonym for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra used on recordings made and released by or licensed from [l=Westminster], mostly in the late 1950s with Artur Rodzinski conducting (most likely for contractual issues). Other conductors include: Erich Leinsdorf, Hermann Scherchen, [a=Dean Dixon (2)], Charles Gerhardt & [a=Argeo Quadri].
Not to be confused with the London Philharmonic Orchestra or the London Symphony Orchestra.
