American early rockabilly pioneer, guitarist and singer
He was born June 23, 1937 in High Point, North Carolina and died April 3, 2001 in Lithonia, Georgia.
Before starting his solo career in 1958 he was part of Gene Vincent & His Blue Caps, getting replaced by Grady Owen.
