Jimmy Lloyd

Jimmy Lloyd (born James Lloyd Logsdon on April 1, 1922 in Panther, Kentucky) was a country and rockabilly artist whose records were released on the Roulette record label. Using the name [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Jimmy+Logsdon]Jimmy Logsdon[/url], he also had records released on the Decca, Dot, King, and Starday labels. He co-wrote and recorded the rockabilly classic "I Got a Rocket in My Pocket," released on the Roulette label in 1958. He died on October 7, 2001 at age 79 in Louisville, Kentucky.
