Paavo

Swedish jazz group from Stockholm.

They are performing the songs and music of vocalist Sofia Jernberg and pianist Cecilia Persson. Together they compose music that has elements of jazz, free improvisational music and art music.

The band has got a varying number of members, with Jernberg and Persson as the core.

In 2007 the were awarded “Jazz Group of the Year” by Jazzkatten.
