Sax Ruins is a side-project of a cult Japanese punk/prog/noise-fusion band Ruins, founded in 2006 by Tatsuya Yoshida (drums) with Ono Ryoko (alto sax). They re-structured Ruins arrangements to include saxophone, so they sound like a big band playing progressive jazzcore. After making a number of live shows, the band also released two albums on Magaibutsu in Japan and Magaibutsu/Magaibutsu in USA.
