Orquestra Ciutat De Barcelona

Spanish orchestra from Barcelona, founded in 1944 under the direction of Eduard Toldrà (1944 to 1962) and later under baton of Rafael Ferrer (1962 to 1967), the orchestra was called Orquestra Municipal de Barcelona until 1967, then Orquestra Ciutat De Barcelona (City of Barcelona Orchestra, or OCB).

In between 1970s and mid 1990s was often called Orquestra Simfónica De Barcelona Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona or Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (more sources welcome).
Renamed since 1994-1995 as Orquestra Simfònica De Barcelona I Nacional De Catalunya (Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra, or OBC).
