    Olimpo León Cárdenas Moreira (Vinces, Ecuador, July 5, 1919 - Tuluá, Colombia, July 28, 1991) was an Ecuadorian singer who developed his career in Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, with presentations in Central and North America. He was an interpreter of boleros, valses, pasillos, tangos and yaravís, and considered together with Julio Jaramillo, one of the great interpreters of the Ecuadorian pasillo.
