Nikolaj Steen

Danish, musician, composer, producer and actor, born 10 February 1967 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Son of jazz pianist and bandleader Niels Jørgen Steen and actress Avi Sagild, brother to Danish actress Paprika Steen and half-brother to Kim Sagild. Though a musician, Nikolaj Steen has had major acting roles in both film and television. Owner of Happy Road Studio.

Together with the drummer Peter Schiøtz and Kim Sagild, Nikolaj Steen formed the group Nickname in 1986. Later Peter Schiøtz and Nikolaj Steen became a duo and released the albums "Nikolaj Steen" and "Blindfolded". Nikolaj Sten joined the band Spacehead and released the album Spacehead, but also produced for other artists. He has frequently accompained on tour and produced Sanne Salomonsen. In 2001 he became a solo artist.
