He played at violin and toured with his oncle Gheorghe Buică ensemble.
Well known violinist Grepell recomanded him to Bucharest Conservatory. He studied with Carl Flesch and after 2 years, graduated Conservatory.
Married with Elvira Pop he learn french and german.
Played at violin restaurants as ''Iordache'' in Bucharest. Also played with George Enescu.
In 1921, he established in Constantinopole, Turkey, where founded a symphony orchestra, wich became famous at that time.
1922-1923 concerted in many countrys but he replaced folk repertoire with songs composed by Pablos Saraste, Saint-Saëns, Max Bruch, Paganinni, Waldteufel, Liszt.
1929-1932 played in Germany, München restaurant from district Leopoldstadt and Dresden - Hotel Esplanad.
1932 - back in România, sought in vain a proper commitment. He was forced to live a poor life full of deprivation.
In the summer of 1932 was ill with kidney. The lack of money and an ignorant doctor, worsened his illness and Buică died by kidney failure in autumn 1932.
Nicolae Buică's wife gave his violin to Grigoras Dinicu (other great violinist)
