Started in 2005 by Waddy Jones, MaxNormal.TV was a corporate hip hop multimedia project around the fictional Maxcorp.
They performed live wearing three-piece suits while frontman MaxNormal delivered his motivational speaking style raps to the audience, projected onto a big screen live to the beat by his personal assistant (and romance novel writer), Yolandi Visser. "The MaxNormal.TV live shows work like high-energy hip hop PowerPoint presentations, perfect for the club, concert or boardroom." The rest of the team was made up of Justin de Nobrega ("perfect track record and has never missed a deadline"), Jakob Basson ("enjoys the lime-light and is often seen with a beautiful girl or two hanging off his arm"), and Brad Armitage ("an angel who has been sent to earth to turn MaxNormal.TV into the most popular show on the planet").
The band split in 2008. Jones, Visser and de Nobrega famously went on to form Die Antwoord.
