Belgian pop band, which was formed in 1989 and started off with Peter Van Laet, Ben Destrycker, Steven De Cort en Herman Van Molle as members. They were joined by Marc Ghyssels in 1990 and together they recorded their first album Paradijs Op Aarde. In 1993 however the frontman Peter Van Laet stopped working with the others and restarted the band using former members of a band called The Extended. Peter Van Laet then went solo in 1995 but eventually reformed Mama's Jasje in 1997 together with the former The Extended member, Gunther Van Campenhout. Nowadays the band is still a duo but Gunther has been replaced by Peter's brother, Jan.
