The Hot Boys, or well known as "The Xochimilcas Boys", or well known as "Los Xochimilcas", there were an impromptu funny band. Creating burlesque shows that were totally different from the contemporary bands that were "bolero" bands. The combination of their four instruments gave them an outstanding versatility. The acordeon made the perfect sound for the cumbia, Cha-cha-cha, Merengue and tropical style.The Trumpet gave life for the danzones and rancheras. Drums started the sound of rock and roll, jazz, boogie-boogie, and the bass made the sound for theblues and swings. There were known as the creators of fussioning rock and roll with popular sounds as mambo, cha-cha-cha, cumbia, jazz and some others. Their origin started on the 40's. They stand out being great musicians, looking like vagabonds, like they were not professionals. Well, smoke and mirrors were done, band members were high class musicians, Martin Armenta, band's vocal and trumpet, was a member of mexican's marine band when he was young. During Xochimilca's performance audience may choose from dancing or enjoy listening their funny lyrics. This shows allowed them to have rolls in some movies. "Que se mueran los feos", "La banda borracha", "Saca la botella", "Domitila" and the amazing "Chilorius" covering Beatles "She loves you" performing a funny version of it.
