Mexican Rock 'N Roll band formed in Tijuana, Mx. in 1964. One of the many bands of the first wave of Rock sung in Spanish where the translation to Spanish of current rock 'n roll songs was the norm. The Hitters focused on British Invasion era songs and they recorded 3 albums between 1965-1969. Original line-up: Manuel “Menny” Muñoz (Vocals) Juan José “Johnny” García (Requinto Guitar) Pedro Martínez (Drums) Rodolfo “El Zorro” Tovar (Keyboards & Saxophone) Raul Blanco (Saxophone) Raul Ávila (Bass) Estéban García (Guitarra) By 1968 they were known as "Meny y sus Hitters"
