Linardos Bambakaris

Linardos (Lilos or Linos) Vamvakaris was a Greek laïkó four-string bouzouki virtuoso. Born in 1956 - Died 15 September 2016 in Athens, Greece. He made his fame in the US. In 1979, he returned to Greece. Later on, he opened his own night club in Piraeus. Son of [a2511753]. Nephew of [a854009] (his father's brother). Cousin of [a=Στέλιος Βαμβακάρης] & [a=Δομένικος Βαμβακάρης] (sons of Markos) and [a1828262] (son of Roza, his father's sister). Nephew of [a=Αντώνης Βαμβακάρης] (his father's cousin).
