US rhythm 'n' blues - soul singer, songwriter. Often associated with songwriters [a=Clyde Otis], [a=Johnny Brandon] and [a=Joe Shapiro (2)], publisher [l=Eden Music]/[l=Eden Music, Inc.]. Mostly known for co-penning "A Lover's Question" & "How Glad I Am". Has written songs for a wide range of mainly 60's artists. Do NOT confuse with rockabilly singer [a=Jimmy Williams (4)] who recorded one of his songs ("I'll Only Give My Love") also on the label [l=Cub].
