Danish drummer and percussionist, born 1 August 1951 in Skjern. Founder of long-running band Gnags in 1966 with younger brother Peter A.G. Nielsen. Member of Warm Guns from 1978 to 1981. Has also worked as engineer and producer in Gnags´ own Feedback Recording studio for a number of other Danish artists, a.o. under the alias Des P. Rado for the band Voxpop, fronted by his younger sister Elisabeth Gjerluff Nielsen. In 1996 he suffered a stroke and decided to leave Gnags. At this point in time he was also working full time as A&R Manager for Feedback Recording.
