Belgian Electronic musician and songwriter, born November 12, 1957 in Brussels.
Together with Patrick Codenys, he founded Under Viewer around 1981. In 1982, both merged with the then-duo Front 242 and continued under that name for the next decades, where he took up the role as vocalist of the band. De Meyer left the band in 1995 and rejoined in 1998, when the band reformed after a two year-hiatus. He was part of the last line-up of the band, as they announced to stop live performances in winter 2024/25.
