Belgian Electronis musician, songwriter and producer, born Aufzust 27, 1954 in Genk, Belgium. He is considered as one of the pioneers of EBM music.
He co-founded Front 242 in 1981 in Aarschot near Brussels. First as a duo together with [a462910], who became their manager in 1983, they evolved to a quartet in 1983 and soon gathered success with their new type of Electronic music.
Daniel B. stayed part of the line-up of the band until 2020, when he retired at the age of 65. His bandmates put emphasis on him retiring from live gigs, but still being member of the band. In the last few years, Daniel B. started a couple of experimental music projects as solo and collaborative projects.
