Died February 22, 2011 in Garden Grove, California.
Jean was a member of the Dinning Sisters trio that was popular in the 1940s. She was raised in north central Oklahoma as part of a large family, took to music early, learned to sing in church, and joined with her older sister Lou and her identical twin Ginger to form the Dinning Sisters.
Her sisters included her twin Ginger Dinning as well as Dolores Dinning & Lou Dinning of The Dinning Sisters; & her brothers singer Mark Dinning & songwriters Wade Dinning & Ace Dinning.
