The Collins Kids

The Collins Kids were a teenage rockabilly duo, featuring sister Lorrie Collins (born May 7, 1942, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma; died August 4, 2018, in Reno, Nevada from complications of a fall) and younger brother Larry Collins (born October 4, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma - died January 5, 2024). They had several hits in the late 1950s, including "Hop, Skip and Jump", "Beetle Bug Bop" and "Hoy Hoy", particularly appealing to the younger generation. They made regular TV appears in the late 1950s and early 60s, before Lorrie "retired" at age 19 in 1961. They were the children of Hazel Collins and Lawrence Collins

The Collins Kids reunited for a rockabilly revival concert in England in 1993 and continue to perform together.
