Jane Lucas is a pseudonym for Mozelle Alderson, who also used the names Hannah May, Kansas City Kitty. She recorded between 1927 and 1934, accompanied first by Blind James Beck and Judson Brown, but most of her recordings were with the Hokum Boys, Tom Dorsey and Big Bill Broonzy.
