(Den Helder, 12 February 1930 – Appingedam, 30 January 2023) Dutch electronic composer. As a sound engineer he set up the Bilthoven electronic studio and directed it for six years. Since 1957 he worked at the Instituut voor Sonologie, Rijksuniversiteit, Utrecht, as composer and teacher.
