Swedish singer and songwriter, born November 11, 1974 in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg. He is known as the singer and songwriter in the indie pop band Broder Daniel, which has been defunct since 2008. He has continued to write music after Broder Daniel shut down and is today active as a solo artist. Henrik Berggren and the group Broder Daniel broke through with the debut album Saturday Night Engine (1995) and the single "Luke Skywalker". The group was formed in 1989 by Henrik Berggren and Daniel Gilbert when they were in junior high school at Gothenburg's higher co-educational school.
