    Danny Dread started his musical career in 1978 as a deejay. In 1982 he had his first hits with "Bible Connection" for producer Leonard Synmoie and "Spar With Us" for producer Jimbo of the Zodiac label. His first album was released the following year on the Absissa label where Danny Dread focuses on his singing material instead of his deejaying. In 1996 he produced and featured on the various artist album "Contracted Killa" (Ancient Tradition Int. LP) with two tracks.
