Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva is a Venezuelan bassist, who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on May 25, 1961. Daniel is member of a musicians family, his grandfather and his father were a big influence on Daniel. Daniel Silva began his musical journey on hand of his uncle Rafael Silva and his Grupo Tres, and after that beside his big brother Mauricio Silva were founder of La Critica a successful project led by [a=Oscar D'León]. Years later Daniel joined to Dimension Latina and after he moved to Colombia to worked with Grupo Niche.

Daniel Silva is a recognized bassist in the Salsa's movement, and he has worked with Fruko, Antonio Cartagena, Isaac Delgado and many others
