    American rapper and actor, born April 8, 1974, The Bronx, New York – died July 28, 2024. Nephew of Bernie Worrell.


    He was raised in East Orange, New Jersey and began rapping in the late 1980s. He released his first single with the group Art Of Origin in 1992 and by 1994, had signed a deal with Rick Rubin's label Def American Recordings to release his debut album "Here To Save You All" (1996). He worked with many different rap artists over the years, such as Kool G Rap, RZA, Sway & King Tech, J Dilla, Ras Kass, Kool Keith, Common, Kut Masta Kurt, Killah Priest, The Beatnuts, Royce Da 5'9", Jinusean, Saafir, B-Real and Snoop Dogg, plus many more.

    After moving to the West Coast, Chino sought out a career in Hollywood and landed a small part in the hit series CSI: Miami.
