American singer, songwriter and beauty pageant winner.
Born April 3, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Died June 25, 2002 (age of 58) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Married to Norman Kaye of the Mary Kaye Trio.
She was Miss Las Vegas and Miss Nevada of 1963. She recorded six singles with Decca Records (“Black Night”, “Mansion of Tears”, “The Third Person”, Wall to Wall Heartaches”, “Something to Think About,” and “Top Twenty”) and one with Vee Jay (“Don’t Walk Away”). She retired from singing and helped husband run their real estate company.
She moved to Las Vegas at the age of 18 to pursue a singing career. Instead she found a job as a showgirl at the Sahara Hotel and parlayed her beauty into the Miss Nevada title in 1963.
She wrote the song 'The Third Person', which was nominated for a Grammy.
