    He started Sugarplum Fairy together with the two years younger brother and singer Victor Norén and drummer Kristian Gidlund. Carl Norén grew up in Borlänge and is the younger brother of the musician Gustaf Norén.

    Norén's first solo song is called The Anger, which entered the Tracks list on October 16, 2010. Carl Norén's debut album, Owls, was released in February 2011.

    Carl Norén also works as a teacher at Lilla Akademien's music high school. There he is responsible for the courses: sports, entrepreneurship, psychology, Swedish and music production.
