American symphony orchestra in Boston, Massachusetts founded in 1881 by Henry Lee Higginson. Their first venue was the old Boston Music Hall, now called the Orpheum Theatre. Since 1900, their home is [url=/label/274678]Symphony Hall[/url]. Their summer residence is Tanglewood (3) in Lenox, Massachusetts.
