David Mansfield

Violinist, mandolin player, pedal steel player, guitarist and composer from Leonia (NJ, USA) born September 13, 1956. His first band was [a=Quacky Duck and His Barnyard Friends]. In 1975 he was asked to tour with Bob Dylan. Then he started [a=The Alpha Band] together with some other members of Bob Dylan's band. He also was a member of Bruce Hornsby And The Range for a short time. When The Alpha Band broke up he continued his career as session musician for among others Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett and Johnny Cash.
