Danish guitarist, born 29 November 1963. Only 16 years old at the time he formed Aske Jacoby Band in 1979. The band later changed name to News. After recording 2 albums "Stereo Magasin" in 1981 and "Sæt Sejl" in 1982 Jacoby left the band in 1983 and later the same year joined the C. V. Jørgensen backing band. In 1985 he founded Danseorkestret with vocalist Jørgen Klubien. From early on Jacoby also was in demand as session guitarist and touring sideman. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s he has played with Sanne Salomonsen, Thomas Helmig and Kasper Winding a.m.o. and is estimated to have played on more than 200 recordings. Started out as solo act in 1991, releasing "Not only for the royalties", a live album recorded at Copenhagen Jazzhouse called "Clubbing" in 1997 and "Transfer Power" from 2004.
