Female Indian tabla virtuoso, multi-percussionist and music composer. She started her training under the likes of Ustad Alla Rakha and Zakir Hussain.
She was the only Indian female to perform at UK’s World Of Music, Dance and Arts Festival in 2008. Hailed as a ‘Rhythm Queen’ and recipient of the "First Ladies" National Award 2018, besides several other prestigious awards. She contributed in research and taught at several prestigious IVY league universities in the USA.
